 A Magical Moment

Can you recall a time in your life when something so mystical transpired that it caught you off guard? Perhaps it was a vision or a specific sign from a loved one now on the spirit side. Maybe you had a lucid dream that redirected the course of your life?  These I believe are gifts from our God Self.

​Last year, while talking to my neighbor, I noticed a little bird in the foliage staring up at me.  “You are a magnificent creature of God and I love you. You bring such light and joy to the planet.”  This “little sweetheart” did not flutter a feather or attempt to fly away.  I surrounded this beloved little being with light and reluctantly headed back to my house; the screen door closing behind me.

Several minutes later I sat down to take a break. To my surprise I discovered the bird followed me home and now sat at my left foot staring up at me. Pure Bliss!  From his perspective, I must have looked the size of the Statue of Liberty but there was no fear.  I marvel at that. I could feel the light in my heart expand and I know he felt it too. He climbed onto my finger and once eye level our love fest continued.  Eventually I took him outside and he sat on my finger while I filled a bird bath with water.   He hopped in and “took off” like a rock skipping across a pond, “flapping his wings furiously” with droplets of water flying in all directions.  He flew away and I have not seen him since.  

A week later I received a gift in the mail from a friend who knew nothing of my experience.  The note read, “I don’t know why, but I saw this and thought of you.”  It was a picture of the same species of bird sitting on a tree branch. I have underscored that event as one of the most magical blessings in my life.  It only reinforces the truth of what The Ascended Master Saint Germain has often said;  "When you Bless the Powers of Nature and the Beings of the Elements, they will Bless you back.” Indeed!
